ROBERTS, Earl Richard Jr. 69, of Ruskin, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Franklin, NC. He was the founder of Quality Metal Fabricators Inc. in Tampa where he served as President and owner for 33 years. Earl was a pilot and had many hobbies. He loved being outdoors, hiking, fishing, and just enjoying God's creation. Earl loved music and served as former Choir Director for Good Shepherd Baptist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church, and was involved in many music ministries in various churches. ROBERTS, Earl Richard Jr. 69, of Ruskin, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Franklin, NC. He was the founder of Quality Metal Fabricators Inc. in Tampa where he served as President and owner for 33 years. Earl was a pilot and had many hobbies. He loved being outdoors, hiking, fishing, and just enjoying God's creation. Earl loved music and served as former Choir Director for Good Shepherd Baptist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church, and was involved in many music ministries in various churches. Most importantly, Earl loved God and his family more than anything. Earl was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen Roberts; his sons, Earl Roberts III (Viki), Stephen Roberts, and Jason Burgess (Ciah); his sisters, Linda Phelps and Francine Trauthwein; grandchildren Emily and Jonathan Roberts, Marena Roberts (mother of Earl and Stephen Roberts); nieces, nephew, and friends. A visitation will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10 am-12 pm followed by a funeral service at 12 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 13515 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 with burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa.
